Jack Jack
Around 2004 I had left a bad relationship. I was living on my own and needed a companion. The first kitty I got was Tux, but I felt that he needed a buddy. I went to the pound, and there was sweet Jack. He was 2 years old when I adopted him. He was the sweetest, most lovable kitty ever. Always purring and always happy. A couple of years later I ended up with a pregnant mama cat that a friend left with me. I ended up keeping 2 of the kittens. As the kittens grew up, Jack was their surrogate mommy. He would just lie there while either Rebel or OE would kneed on his tummy. He was the most gentle and loving cat. When I met my husband in 2012, Jack was the first of my kitties to attach himself to Dusty(my husband). They had a very special bond. Later in Jacks’s life, his purr turned into what we called a dove coo. We loved to make him purr because the sound was just too precious. He was loved by all of our other kitties and by every human he came in contact with. He is sorely missed. Till we meet again Jack.
